Character Creation Rules

The following are rules and guidelines about making a character on Jenesis. You are expected to read and agree to these terms before making your character.

1.) You may make an original or a pre-existing character. Original characters can be from any fandom you wish, or a universe of your own creation. Pre-existing characters can be rewritten in any form you wish as long as it isn't something stupid. For example no Homer Simpson from The Simpsons, no Peter Griffin from Family Guy, and no My Little Pony characters. If you're unsure what fits into this category please contact a member of staff.

2.) You may have as many characters as you can handle, either on one account, or multiple accounts.

3.) Only one version of a pre-existing character can exist at one time. For example if we have a Count Dracula then Alucard from Hellsing can’t be added to the cast because Alucard is Count Dracula.

4.) Remember that just because your character is the strongest in his or her universe doesn’t mean they’ll be the strongest in this one. A balance has to be made to incorporate everyone under the same banner. Stronger characters need to be watered down so they don’t dominate the forum. If you’re unsure what this means then please ask a staff member.

5.) If you make a pre-existing character please use your own words in the history instead of copying and pasting from a wiki page.

6.) Your character cannot have a world destroying power. This means if he or she can destroy the world in one blast with a power or a weapon, that isn’t likely to be approved. For example if you’re playing Darth Vader you cannot have the Death Star in orbit.

7.) A cap will be put in place if we get too many characters from the same fandom. That way there will be a balance of characters on the forum and we won’t get flooded with say Star Wars or Kingdom Hearts characters.

8.) Please do not make your power list bigger than your actual history. You don't need too many abilities just starting out, and it shouldn't outweigh the actual history which is the most important part. If this is the case you will be asked to make the appropriate edits.

9.) Please specify your character's race beyond 'unknown'
