Pisa's about 5'4 at her full height, but often slouches a bit and comfortably rests at 5 foot even. Granted, that's not taking all her features into consideration, a pair of curling, ridged horns emerge from her forehead, just below her hairline. These sturdy protrusions add another half a foot to her height, as well as give her a rather distinct silhuette. Her skin is an ash black, and her eyes are dominated by her yellow-green irises. to keep her back-length autumn-red hair in check, she often ties it into twin-tails that hang down over her narrow shoulders. Pisa keeps her chest covered by a cloth wrap, her lithe body protected from the elements by a heavy green poncho. She has two powerful goat legs instead of those frail, hairless noodles most people are stuck with, and a mossy-green skirt hangs off of her wide hips.
Special Abilities:
Goatness: Pisa's cloven hooves can, inexplicably, maintain grip and balance on almost vertical surfaces. Her neck, head and spine are able to endure considerable impacts, helping with a perpetual need to headbutt everything. Those goat legs of hers are extremely strong, granting her the ability to leap incredible distances, suddenly launch into a breakneck (For losers who aren't satyrs) sprint, and brace against all manner of forces. Her hips are incredibly well muscled, allowing her to emulate a goat's ability to rear up and then lunge down for an impactful skull bash as well.
Weapons:
Dominant Kriat: A polearm, more than just a spear. The weapon has a sharp, broad, eighteen inch long blade at the head with a four foot long haft, growing thicker towards the bottom. The head of the weapon has been modified, four smoothbore, twelve gauge shotgun barrels affixed to the base of the spearhead. Each barrel can be fired independently, set off in pairs, or all at once. Each must be manually reloaded and, as one would expect with a shotgun, can only hold one round per barrel.
Falcata: A woman's best friend, part hatchet, part survival knife, all heft. The blade was ritually quenched in the Quintessence of Being, and any damage dealt to the blade slowly heals over time.
Beast Hammer: Equal parts religious icon and instrument of destruction, this ten foot chain has a five pound weight at one end, the other ending in a cross handle meant to lock into an accompanying gauntlet. Pisa often keeps this wrapped around her waist as a chain belt, offsetting the weight on long travels.
Horn and hoof, tooth and nail: Malethoth made his beasts strong. Pisa's ridged horns are harder than steel, and she often brings them to bare against her foes. Her hooves are harder than stone, and she carries a special set of tools to maintain them. Her nails grow like talons, and match the durability of her hooves, while her bite strength is beyond that of a human, though she cannot think of too many situations where that'd be applicable in a fight...

The Age of Men had ended when Karamoon was formed. Malethoth, Dark Lord of Beasts, reshaped the world in a tide of blood and magic. The few surviving humans hid and cowered before the beasts, they lived in the Shadow of the Beast, and Malethoth's shadow spread across the world. The Age of Beasts was long, lasting centuries, with humanity a much smaller part of the world, and Malethoth's warlock pontiff Zelek hunting humans for his dark experiments, creating new creatures in the human image, making beasts of men.
One such creation of his, Aarbron, rebelled against his creator. He stormed Zelek's castle, slew his champions and his creations. He warred against those who would ally themselves with Zelek and Malethoth, he slew the dark priest of the Lord of Beasts, and he cast Malethoth low and sundered him in his seat of power. The age of Beasts had ended and the age of Karamoon had begun.
Pisa was just a child when Malethoth was destroyed, and the world he had left was wild, dangerous, continents destroyed and reshaped to his liking. She was a Satyr, descended from Zelek's earliest successes and growing up in the wild jungles alongside the other beasts that still roamed the land. Many of her kind still worshipped their dead god, but she had left her home, seeking out humans and learning from them. Through them, she had become most formidable, the body and soul of a beast but the mind of a human; an avatar of Aarbron in his prime.
At first it was an exchange, her expertise and knowledge of the wilds for human equiment and education, but soon it grew into acceptance, symbiosis. She learned much of their skills, and taught them everything she knew of Karamoon's wild jungles, scorched plains, treacherous mountains and ominous mires. One day, however, what once appeared to be ruins in the wilds was instead a mysterious labrynth filled with oddities and terrors beyond her wildest dreams. Through a strange door she found herself on a strange new world, an alien place called Jherra...
